Have you heard of the words self care? The meaning is pretty obvious, taking care of one’s self. Yet as a mom, I am guilty, as I’m sure many of you are at putting my self care last. I put myself last behind taking care of the kids, being a wife, taking care of the house and working. My husband recently asked me how I wanted to celebrate Mother’s Day this year and I told him the biggest gift I could get is a day of self care. A day I don’t have to cook, clean, run errands or do laundry. A day I can sit on our back patio with my coffee in blissful silence listening to the sound of the birds nearby. A day I can just play with my girls and enjoy time with them without taking breaks to do the laundry or pick up the house. Well, I got just that and it was wonderful! We all need more self care “me time”!

We are hosting guest speaker Julie Jacky, certified EFT practitioner, to take us through tapping on stress. Trudy will be doing a short essential oil demonstration at the beginning of the Tuesday meeting. We will also have food and drink available.
