Relieve tension, pain and restore balance to the body

Massage therapy and chiropractic care go hand-in-hand. That’s why we love having an amazing therapist in-house at our Wellness Center.

Who Needs Massage Therapy?

Who doesn’t!? White Bear Lake and the surrounding areas are full of active people and young families which means you may be one of the many people training for a triathlon or recovering from your first fitness event in a long time. Or maybe you’ve just welcomed a new member to your family…there’s plenty of good reasons why your body may be feeling the strain and in need of a helping hand to recover.

A Little bit About Curtis
I am a certified massage therapist and have been practicing for over 15 years. I attained my certification from Northern Lights School of Massage Therapy in coalition with the American Therapeutic Massage Association (AMTA). After this achievement I pursued further education with a national massage certification from the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). My interests in the muscle-skeletal system lead me to commit to an orthopedic massage certification from the OMERI Institute. A few years later; as luck would have it, I was able to work at a health club as a massage therapist and work along side personal trainers who shared with me Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) stretching techniques for elite athletes. My bodywork style is based through my understanding of the muscle-skeletal system. I combine basic Swedish massage techniques, along with deep muscle, trigger point therapy methods to provide an overall deep relaxing feeling for the client. Although I have worked to honed my skills to the technical therapeutic aspects of massage, it has not limited me to deep work alone. My jobs at Salons and Spas has reinforced to me the importance of relaxation and solace massages from every day stressful life situations. I am looking forward to working with you in sharing my knowledge, skills and techniques of therapeutic and relaxation massage to help you attain overall harmony in your body.
